At around lunchtime, we will visit Nazaré, an old fishing village which is now famous for being the site of the world's largest wave, measuring around 30 metres in height. Even those who are not big fans of surfing will find Nazaré charming, with its fish drying in the sun and varinas (fisherwomen) selling to passing tourists. The tour will end in Óbidos, an enchanting medieval village surrounded by castle walls and narrow streets lined with white houses.
