Wadi Al Arbyeen one of my favorite outdoors places in Oman. Wadi Al Arbyeen is not very accessible due to the lack of signage, and the stretch of off-road that you need to get through. However, you should visit if you enjoy taking a dip in freshwater pools, which are in abundance here, and want to experience the serenity of walking through a wadi that feels very untouched. You almost get an eerie feeling wading through the wadi, especially further in. You can spend time there to relax and swim Then after continue drive to sinkhole (swimming in the sinkhole lake if possible) and the long white Beach of Fins, we arrive in Wadi Shab Photo Stop in the beginning of the Wadi, and you can have had lunch there at local Omani Restaurant and then continue to Wadi Tiwi Photo Stop then drive back to Muscat.

See Muscat from the water on a shared, traditional dhow cruise at sunset, with coastal views and landmark-lined sailing around Old Muscat. The cruise starts in Muscat, with pickup available at Seeb Airport. The route passes Al Bustan Palace Hotel, Mirani Fort, Al Jalali Fort, and Al Alam Palace, including a 17th-century Portuguese fort and a royal residence. These are pass-by views rather than shore stops, so you can take in Muscat’s waterfront from the boat while enjoying light refreshments, Omani coffee, dates, snacks, soda pop, and bottled water.

Full-Day Bimmah Sinkhole and Wadi Al Arbeieen Tour (opens in a new tab)

32 7 h – 8 h

About Muscat

A calm Gulf capital of mosques, forts, wadis and desert

Muscat is Oman's capital, a relaxed city between the mountains and the sea. The Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, the Mutrah Souq and the corniche are its highlights, and the old forts above the harbour add history.

Outside the city are wadis with swimming holes, dunes in the Wahiba Sands and dolphin-watching cruises. It is a quieter, more traditional Gulf destination than Dubai.
