Let's make kimono !(Kimono is a gift for you (opens in a new tab)

280 1 h 30 min

In Japan, it is said that less than 5% of people can wear kimono now days. Because it is difficult to wear a kimono by yourself. The problem with vintage kimonos is that Japanese people in the past were small, so the size of kimonos is small. Usually, when wearing a kimono, the part called "Ohashiyori" is folded. By making kimono into two pieces, the folding part has been eliminated and improved so that even tall people can wear vintage kimonos. Kimonos are generally handmade and made of silk, so they are expensive and cannot be purchased affordably. Some of our kimonos are gorgeous and have fine detail which normally cost like thousands of dollars. But with the use of vintage, they are affordable for everyone. Our extra cost for kimono is very easy to distinguish. If you decide to go with no extra charge, you can choose a basic kimono. Why do you make your own kimono? By making the kimono into a two-part style, ANYONE can easily wear a kimono.

Tokyo Street Photography Workshop with a Pro Photographer (opens in a new tab)

19 2 h

Shimbashi and Yurakucho offer a side of Tokyo that many visitors overlook, and they're two of my favorite areas for street photography. Rather than chasing the city's most photographed locations, we'll work among narrow alleyways, train tracks, small restaurants and the everyday rhythm of local life. On weekday evenings after 17:00, the area transforms as office workers fill the streets, izakayas and alleyways — creating one of Tokyo's most distinctive environments for candid street photography. Along the way, I'll share context about Japanese work and social culture and how it shapes what we're photographing. Most importantly, this is a hands-on workshop rather than simply a guided photo walk. I'll work with you individually on seeing scenes, composition, light, timing and developing your own approach to street photography. And depending on the day and conditions, we may even discover a few less obvious viewpoints along the way.
