The Burri Burri Whale Experience is a 2-hour guided walk on Bidjigal Country, from Bondi Pavilion to a clifftop Aboriginal engraving site used for cultural practice for generations. Your guide, Eric Brown, is a Traditional Custodian and descendant of known apical ancestors, holding rare authorisation from NSW National Parks to interpret these engravings. The walk opens with a traditional smoking welcome, an ancient cleansing practice observed here long before Bondi became a famous beach. Eric then leads the Burri Burri ceremony, song, dance and storytelling carrying the whale's spiritual meaning, joined by Drew Longbottom, Dharrawal and Wandi Wandian man and Knowledge Holder.
