The main techniques used are jigging (dropping weighted lures to the bottom and working them up through the water column) and surface trolling, depending on conditions and target species. The most prized catch is Mahi-Mahi (Dorado) — a powerful, fast-running fish known for its spectacular aerial leaps when hooked. Barracuda, Bonito, and Mackerel are also common catches.
