Lunch is cooked right there on an open fire, inside sections of bamboo: plain trail food rather than a sit-down meal. Wild elephants and monkeys share this forest, though spotting either depends on luck. After lunch and a rest you walk the same 3 km back, then trade the trail for an inner tube and a life jacket and let the Sok River current take you on the last leg. It suits active people with moderate fitness who don't mind sweating and getting soaked.
