Longsheng Hot Spring Resort Area was established with the approval of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and later became the provincial tourism resort. It is located in the mountains approximately 85 miles (137 kilometers) from downtown Guilin. Forest covers in the broadness amounts to 5 square kilometers in the area, and it is also an ancient Cambrian geology. The main channel of hot springs forms in between a stretch of dozens of kilometers long from Baiyaling Cliff Ridge to Swan Boundary Fault Zone.
