One of the standout features of Palccoyo is that it is less frequented by tourists, resulting in a more peaceful and unhurried atmosphere for visitors. This contrasts with the often crowded trails of Vinicunca. Furthermore, the trek to Palccoyo is shorter and generally considered easier, catering to those who may not want a strenuous hike but still wish to experience the beauty of natural rainbow mountains. Unlike Vinicunca, which boasts one primary rainbow-patterned mountain, Palccoyo offers views of three colored mountains, enriching the panoramic experience.
