Berlin Nightlife Tour: 4 Venues, Shots & Club Entry (opens in a new tab)

10 4 h

You arrive alone or with a friend. Ten minutes later you're holding a welcome shot and talking to people from half a dozen countries. That's the idea. Your host plans the night so you don't have to. It starts at the World Clock on Alexanderplatz with welcome shots for everyone, then four venues over about four hours — three bars and a club — with another shot included at every stop. Each place has its own mood, and the night builds: easy at the first one, loud by the last. Your host knows the city and keeps the night running — route, timing, the group. Introductions happen early, and after the first bar the group mixes on its own. Strangers at the first stop, friends by the last. Solo travelers are the rule here, not the exception. Most nights mix travelers, exchange students and a few locals, and everything runs in English and German. The last stop is the club, and your entry is included. Stay as long as you want. Social Night Out — Strangers to Friends.

Berlin & Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp Tour from Warnemünde and Rostock Port (opens in a new tab)

83 12 h

This shore excursion combines our classic All-in-One Best of Berlin trip with a brief visit to the largest concentration camp near Berlin: Sachsenhausen.  We will pick you up directly at your cruise ship docking in Warnemünde or Rostock, and bring you to Berlin to see the city's essential sites. You will then be driven to Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp for an overview of the memorial site. Please be aware, Sachsenhausen is roughly a one hour drive from Berlin. The tour is organized to minimize time spent on the bus. This is why we visit Sachsenhausen in the afternoon, as it lies on the way back to port. More time, however, is spent on the bus than on our regular Berlin shore excursion. All of our shore excursions are adjusted to each ship’s docking times and each starts promptly after your vessel’s arrival, returning with plenty of time to spare before its departure. We have been organizing shore excursions for nearly a decade and have never missed a cruise ship’s departure.

Berlin Third Reich Walking Tour (opens in a new tab)

719 2 h

This is not a tour of villains and battles, but of how a democracy was dismantled from within. Beginning at the Brandenburg Gate, your guide traces the Weimar Republic's collapse, the Nazi seizure of power through propaganda and fear, and the machinery of a state that turned to genocide — administered not by fanatics alone, but by clerks and civil servants at ordinary desks. Alongside the sites of power on Wilhelmstraße and at the Reichstag, the walk gives space to the victims — the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, the often-overlooked Sinti and Roma, and the Jewish community that Berlin nearly destroyed and that has since returned. Led by a licensed local guide, it treats this difficult history with the seriousness and respect it demands. With a max of 20 guests, it is a more personal experience than most tours in the city. This tour includes a short journey by public transport. If you don't hold a valid day pass (AB-zone), we'll cover the cost of your ticket.
